2017-18 Summary Report
2017-18 Land Trust Summary Report
With Land Trust Funding San Rafael Middle School was able to do many different things and provide valuable service to our students.
Funding was used to purchase an additional 60 chrome books and necessary materials including charging carts, headphones and “mice” for students to use in their classes.
Our School Counselor utilized the Naviance Program to assist students in Career and College Readiness.
With the change to a Middle School we also purchased textbooks and resources in Math. In Language Arts SRMS implemented a Reading Olympics to go along with our Accelerated Reading Program. Books and novels were purchased for this.
With the move to a Middle school we used some funding to provide a back to school and welcome activity complete with t-shirts for all students. This helped the students to take ownership of the new SRMS and feel welcome.
In the Math Program funds were used to gain sufficient ALEKS math program licenses for all students.
We also, hired an aide to assist struggling students here at school.
Two Smart Boards were also purchased to improve technology in our classrooms.
